I began building the family tree, by starting with the pedigree, and picture of family members. At different times I would meet different members of the family and ask about brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandfathers and grandmothers. Different ones gave some pictures and stories about their family. Elsie Erker Bush was a great help about the William Erker family as well as Freda Erker and Margaret Nilles Erker and her family.
